The Late lady jeanette(Co-founder of Tabernacle of Prayer)
Lady Jeanette A. Scott is a native of McComb, MS. She furthered her college education by attending the University of Southern Mississippi in the spring of 1985, where she met Minister Micah J. Scott. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies in May 1987, and in December of that year, she & Elder Scott were united in holy matrimony. Pastor Scott and Lady Jeanette have three children: Micah, Jr., Joanna and Moses.
In May 1989, Lady Jeanette assisted her husband in the establishment of Tabernacle of Prayer Church of God in Christ. First Lady Jeanette has actively served in various capacities at Tabernacle and currently serves as Executive Assistant for Membership Care. In addition to laboring alongside her husband, she serves the Jurisdictional Department of Women as an assistant for the Ministers & Elders Wives. Lady Jeanette is also a licensed Evangelist Missionary through the Church of God in Christ, Inc.
Lady Jeanette strongly believes that choosing to love is the most powerful weapon that we have as Believers in living a victorious life, and to be truly representatives of God on this earth.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1 John 4:7-8
Lady Jeanette went home to be with Lord on May 15, 2022. God has not forgotten her labor of love, and neither will we. Great is her reward in heaven for the great sacrifices she made on earth for Tabernacle of Prayer and the kingdom of God. She is greatly missed by her loving husband, Micah J. Scott, Sr., her children Micah Jr., Joanna, and Moses, as well as the entire Tabernacle of Prayer and Latter Rain church families.
