Prepare Your Heart
Job 11:13-17 (NLT2)
{Job 11:13} “If only you would prepare your heart and lift up your hands to him in prayer!
{Job 11:14} Get rid of your sins, and leave all iniquity behind you.
{Job 11:15} Then your face will brighten with innocence. You will be strong and free of fear.
{Job 11:16} You will forget your misery; it will be like water flowing away.
{Job 11:17} Your life will be brighter than the noonday. Even darkness will be as bright as morning.
James 5:16 (AMP) 16 Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].
1 Samuel 16:7 (AMP) 7 But the Lord said to Samuel, Look not on his appearance or at the height of his stature, for I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.

a Righteous heart Required
Psalm 24:3-4 (ESV)

4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully.
Isaiah 59:1-3 (ESV)
1 Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear;
2 but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.
3 For your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies; your tongue mutters wickedness.
